The D-range contains the most economical versions. With the same heavy robust frame and despite a fully complete equipment, this model is offered at a very attractive price. In the basic version this machine has a powerful 4 kW (s6) motor, extra depth of the saw blade, 2 entry rollers and a repeat stop for strip cutting.

600 x 100 mm rectangular steel casing for free standing machine frame, with tension-free hardened steel bar guidance module for horizontal travel.

PRODUCT VERSIONS AND DIMENSIONS

ELCON is unique in the world with her application of the heavy, self-rigid carrying guidance modules on the horizontal beam. The saw group connected to the saw beam is a heavy and solid structure and is guided by a hard steel rod on the above horizontal beam. This results in a flawless and easy moving sawbeam along the entire length of the machine. This also means the user the guaranteed of a precision cut and a long durability.

Every ELCON panel saw is constructed on basis of two strong independent horizontal carrying modules. These two carrying modules are rigid in itself, 100% straight and are supported by two strong heavily constructed metal posts. ELCON is the only panel saw manufacturer with this sturdy and self supporting frame. One of the benefits of this “dual-rigid-module” system for the end user is that the machine is very easily installed.

The results of this system translate directly into quality of the cuts. For measurements, finish, repeatability and ease of operation.

The operation is easy, simple and complete. This machine is standard equipped with entry and exit rollers for panel handling to help the operator to slip panels onto the machine without damaging the material.

The D model is equipped with a repeat-stop for strip cutting. This is a simple but very effective lever that the operator can adjust to a specific height and will stop on top of the panel and as such fixates the saw to a specific cutting height. This will help the operator to speed up his work when he needs to cut many strips of the same size out of the panel.

On the bottom support level and on the level of the mid-fence, an end-stop is available for holding the panel when cutting horizontally.

The D model is also equipped with double-cut scoring with the main blade for scoring and grooving.

Due to the optimised construction of the frame, the D model reduces the working footprint up to 30 cm in depth.
